Mom did a series of tilted city paintings
when I was a teenager. Her tilted city was seen from a squirrel's eye pov
with city partially framed by trees. Will see if I can find any images...
but that work is long collected and gone.

The chief function of the city is to convert power into form, energy into culture, dead matter into the living symbols of art, biological reproduction into social creativity.
