Leaving shortly for a six-week working trip stateside. If you are in
love with any of the Pakistan works, and want to make sure they come live
with you, and you don't want to have to deal with international shipping,
please email me ASAP to make sure I pack them (or don't pack them as the
case may be). See them all here.

Thank you. Yes, I pretty much had to.

Heathcliff flushed a kitty from a low bush the other day and I wouldn't let go; he pulled me to my knees, and I wouldn't let go. And then he lunged again for kitty and sent me sprawling on the blacktop, leash arm stretched overhead. I still wouldn't let go.

As I lay there, not being able to breathe, dead weight on the leash, I wondered kind of abstractly if he would manage to dislocate my arm. I decided probably not.

He didn't get the chance to try more than once, as S. got hold of him.

I now know what big boobs are good for. Bellyflops on concrete.

Oh man! Sorry to laugh, but, it's an image I am familiar with myself, lol! Though my dogs aren't as big as Heathcliff, if I'm walking the two up there in my avatar and they see a squirrel, I usually get a pretty good pull, especially if I'm walking Stella my greyhound with them as well! I've often been told by people I should be wearing my roller blades with them, lol.

Funny, your story also reminded me of a dog we used to have. Thumper once saw a cat hiding under a tree while we were out walking in the rain one day, and after that, especially if it was rainy outside, he'd check under trees, because, well, cats grow under them, don't you know. lol!

Hope your shoulder is ok. And your poor knees! Protective boobs....that's just funny. :-D

No, laugh, I would have at the time but had no air inside me. It is amazing how un-hurt I was/am from the faceplant, thanks to boobs.

Total damaage: favorite pants were ripped/trashed, one skinned knee, one slightly bruised palm, 24 hour headache prob. from whiplash, and dignity. For a header into cement, this seems like not much!
